So Much Closer – “Nhớ” (“Remember”) Deck

Because there are things that luckily I have not forgotten

The “Nhớ” deck is like a set of tickets where each card is a time when you step through the time portal to revisit a memory region.

Through 60 cards, 55 cards containing fragments of memories and 5 cards containing definitions related to the topic, the “Nhớ” deck gives you a chance to look back at a time that has passed but not far away, to suddenly feel more appreciate the times and people who are with you right now.

So Much Closer – “Nhớ” (“Remember”) & “Mình” (“Self”) Deck

Wherever we are, we still miss each other with the deck of cards “Nhớ” and “Mình”

Not going anywhere this summer, Cabin often plays miscellaneous games ourselves. Sometimes we draw, sometimes we write, sometimes we find recipes and make new cakes. These days, Cabin invited parents and siblings, and then texted friends far away to sit down and choose a deck of cards to share the moment with each other.

MD Paper Midori

Wordless surfaces for your thoughts to speak

The rustle of pen nibs on paper. And your thoughts begin to enter certain rhythms. Cabin thinks that from its inception in the 1960s to the present, the Midori papers have not changed much, simply to do one thing right: to become a reliable, wordless platform for themselves. The strokes and the letters express their rhythm.

Caran d’Ache 849 Black Code

When in doubt, turn to black

Color is also a language of its own. If the bright colors let you find a new source of energy, black is for when you need a protective sphere around. Black Code is such a ballpoint pen.

The pen has a matte chrome-plated aluminum shell, making the pen even more invisible in the hand. The pen has the familiar hexagonal design of the Caran d’Ache for a secure hold. Inside that calm aluminum block is the “Goliath cartridge” that makes this Swiss pen famous, with an ink capacity that can write up to 8000m, approximately 600 A4 pages (probably number of books in Murakami’s 1Q84?)
